Gil Project

GIL was a freelance project I built for a gemological institute. They needed a system where customers could verify diamond certificates online by entering a reference number, browse a gemstone encyclopedia, and learn about their grading process.

I built the whole thing from scratch — a public-facing site with 3D gem visualizations, a certificate verification system backed by PostgreSQL, and a secure admin dashboard for uploading and managing certificates. It was my first real client project, and shipping something that an actual business relies on taught me more about production engineering than any tutorial could.
